Thank you! I used Derwent Coloursoft coloured pencils. They're really soft and blend well. I saw many dA members using Derwent's coloured pencils (mostly Inktense, I think) and I would really recommand this brand! Here's the website: [link]. To be honest, at first I didn't know how to use them propaely... But after some experimenting and blending tries and understand how they're working it's real fun using them. Nice! I'm still after the 2nd book, because a friend of mine forgets to lend me the 3rd one. XD + I think, I will read The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo to the end.. Was too busy with warriors, lol.
welly ou did wonderful and I was wondering, do you take point commissions? Cuz if so I would love to have one by you! And I will check them out, thank you. Ia m just starting using Copic markers. And lemme tall ya, the books get better and better!
GOD, now that's a VERY late answer! Anyway, it's great to hear that I almost never did a point comissions (but I was thinking of opening it), but I could do you one. Just send me a message if you are still interesed. How much characters, should it be a headshot, what technique (coloured pencils [like this], copic markers, watercolours or digital), and so on and so on. I've already read the 5th one The scene with dogs was awesome! And he's gonna lend me the 6th one probably tomorrow haha
I still have to think about the price, I'm thinkin' about 40-50 points for those two. Hope it would be ok One more question: Should the background be like the one with Bluestar ("cropped" and kind of oval/round) or something like [link] this? In my head I think of a horizontal format for those two. I will probably do it with watercolours and I already have kind of a concept! Do you also have any wishes for the background? Should it be pretty easy or with some details? Any colours? I though of green, to be honest. Maybe something forest-like I have to admit, I have to practise the BGs tho
